The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China has recently reached the goal of eliminating backward production capacity in the industrial sector in 2012 and reached Chongqing. The target mission is mainly related to the top ten industries in the city, mainly including backward production capacity of 200,000 tons of coke, 42,000 tons of ferroalloy, 25,000 tons of calcium carbide, 60,000 tons of paper, and 22 million meters of printing and dyeing.
According to the requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Chongqing Municipality immediately decomposed the first batch of backward and backward tasks to relevant district and county-level group companies, implemented them, and announced to the public. The first phase of eliminating outdated production capacity involves 103 companies. The city will ensure that all outdated backward production capacity equipment and production lines that have been announced before the end of December of this year will be dismantled so that it will not be able to resume production, and it will complete the on-site inspection and acceptance of all enterprises that have eliminated backward production capacity.
