Specifically, starting from the data analysis, compared with the first 10 months of this year, in the sedan market, only Changan Yidong and Geely Emgrand EC7 ranked 20th and 24th respectively with 133,000 vehicles and 117,000 vehicles, respectively. In the field of sputum, SUV and MPV, the performance of autonomy is much better.

However, in the case of market research firm IHSAutomotive, in the face of increasingly popular SUVs and crossover models, traditional four-door sedan is losing market share, and SUVs and crossover models will continue to maintain rapid growth.
Taking the US market as an example, IHSAutomotive data shows that the market share of traditional four-door sedan has been declining over the past five years. In the first five months of this year, sales of SUVs and crossovers in the US market accounted for 36.5%, which is the first time to surpass cars, accounting for 35.4% of the same period. Looking back at 2009, the above figures are 31.5% and 36.5% respectively. In the past six years, the total number of SUVs and crossover vehicles increased by about 5%, while that of cars decreased by 1%.
Judging from this, the Chinese SUV market still has great potential for exploration. But at the same time, it is particularly important to emphasize that although the market is booming, as Chen Hongsheng said earlier, consumption upgrading is as important as product strength. Wei Jianjun, chairman of Great Wall Motors, made a famous saying, "Pig can also go to the tree when the wind is big." Despite the current excellent performance, the autonomy still needs to be guarded against the old road of many years ago, that is, under the hot environment of the market, it has covered many product problems, which led to the lack of continuity in the subsequent development.
To this end, how to improve product strength is still a topic that local enterprises urgently need to solve. In this regard, going up has been considered the only way.
