HS Code: 84741000 1. Product Description The centrifugal separator is composed of two main components: the separation mechanism and the auxiliary mechanism. The separation structure consists of a drum that is hollow and shaped like a frustum. The inner surface of the drum has a slope ranging from 30 to 50 degrees, constructed from steel plate flange welding, cast aluminum, or glass fiber-reinforced plastics. The drum is fixed to the axle by the chassis and rotates along with it. The auxiliary mechanism includes feeding devices, ore discharge devices, flushing systems, and control units. 2. Working Principle Ore pulp is delivered through a distributor to the inner wall of the drum while it spins at high speed. As the pulp moves with the drum, heavier minerals settle on the inner wall and rotate with it, while lighter particles spin at a different speed. During this process, the lighter particles are discharged out of the drum. After three minutes, the pulp distributor shifts to stop feeding. Once tailings are discharged, the system prepares to collect concentrate. A high-pressure water valve automatically activates to flush the concentrate off the inner wall, then turns off. After all concentrate is removed, the feeding and discharging distributors return to their original positions, starting a new cycle. 3. Product Application Centrifugal separators, also known as centrifuges or centrifugal chutes, use strong centrifugal force to enhance gravity separation and effectively recover ultrafine ore particles. They are widely used in gold, tungsten, lead, manganese, iron, and other mineral recovery processes. 4.
