On July 19, 2018, Grayslake Engine 2727 officially arrived and is now stationed at Fire Station #1. This new apparatus is a Rosenbauer Commander cab and chassis, powered by a Cummins engine. It features a 750-gallon water tank, a high-performance Waterous pump capable of 1,500 gallons per minute, and a Class A foam system to help manage various types of fires more effectively.
