I responded to a serious dumpster fire at 948 Country Lane in Buffalo Grove on Monday afternoon. The situation was intense, and the fire was quite challenging to reach with standard equipment. There was a very impressive long-range shot from the ladder truck that really stood out. Here are some photos from the scene.

It's always interesting to see how quickly crews can respond and adapt to these kinds of situations. The fire was contained, and no injuries were reported. Thanks to the firefighters and the quick action of the crew, things didn’t escalate further. Definitely a tough call, but handled well.
