On July 14, the Nairobi County Government of Kenya signed a strategic cooperation with the Beijing Public Transport Group and Futian Automobile for public transportation (transit) in Nairobi County and the urban public transportation solution in Nairobi County. Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Beijing Municipal Party Committee Secretary Guo Jinlong, Chinese Ambassador to Kenya Liu Xianfa, Nairobi County Governor Kidro and other representatives of Chinese and Kenyan officials and entrepreneurs attended the signing ceremony.
According to the agreement, Foton Motor will provide a series of bus system solutions for the city of Nairobi, including green bus integration, urban governance and environmental management. This cooperation will play a good demonstration role for the construction of public transport systems in Kenya and the entire East African country, which will be beneficial to the promotion of Futian Automobile's globalization strategy in Africa. More importantly, this strategic cooperation has realized a shift from product exports to ideas and models, and established a new international model for Foton Motor.
