Lincolnshire-Riverwoods apparatus updates

The Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District is set to receive their new Pierce 105â€² quint next week. The truck will feature a striking black-over-red color scheme, with a black ladder that mirrors the design of the new unit currently in Homewood. This update marks a fresh look for the department as they continue modernizing their fleet.

In addition, the first of the existing Lincolnshire-Riverwoods units to have the white roof repainted black is Engine 51, which recently returned from the paint shop. Engine 52 is scheduled for bodywork and a new black roof in the near future. This change reflects the departmentâ€™s ongoing efforts to refresh their appearance and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all apparatus.
