Lincolnshire-Riverwoods apparatus updates

The Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District is set to receive their new Pierce 105' quint next week. The truck will feature a striking black-over-red color scheme, with a black ladder that mirrors the design of the new unit currently in Homewood. This update marks an important step in modernizing the departmentâ€™s fleet and enhancing its visual identity.

In addition, the first of the existing Lincolnshire-Riverwoods units to have the white roof repainted black is Engine 51, which recently returned from the paint shop. Engine 52 is also scheduled for bodywork and a new black roof soon. This transition to a darker color scheme reflects the departmentâ€™s ongoing efforts to enhance visibility and maintain a consistent appearance across its fleet.
