According to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics of the People's Republic of China , the value added of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 8.9% year-on-year in August 2012 (the growth rate of the following added value is the real growth rate after deducting price factors), which is lower than that in July. 0.3 percentage points. From a month-on-month comparison, the value added of industries above designated size increased by 0.69% from the previous month. From January to August, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 10.1% year-on-year. From a product perspective, in August, 291 products out of 471 products increased year-on-year. Ethylene was 1.17 million tons, down 1.9%. It is understood that since March 2012, domestic ethylene production has been in a downward trend year-on-year.
