Three new mobile ventilation units from Tempest Technology have recently arrived to support the MABAS divisions in the area. These units will be strategically assigned to: - MABAS Division 1, housed with the Wheeling Fire Department - MABAS Division 10, stationed with the Lyons Fire Department - MABAS Division 27, located with the Crete Township Fire Department Each unit is built on a Ford F550 chassis and equipped with the Tempest MVU-125 Lightweight Unit, making them highly efficient and versatile for emergency response operations. The units were constructed by Darley, known for their high-quality fire apparatus, and feature advanced ventilation technology designed to improve air flow and safety during firefighting efforts. The arrival of these units marks an important step forward in enhancing the capabilities of local fire departments. They are not only durable but also equipped with state-of-the-art features that will significantly aid in both structure fires and other emergency scenarios.
