In 2020, Delfast launched three upgraded e-bike models: the Prime 2.0, Top 3.0, and Partner 2.0. These were developed based on customer feedback, offering improved performance, durability, and user experience. Each model brings a range of new features that set them apart from their predecessors.

Carbon Belt Drive

One of the most significant upgrades across all models is the introduction of a carbon belt drive system. According to Delfast Chief Engineer Serhii Goncharov, traditional chains are one of the weakest parts of an e-bike. They typically last only a few thousand kilometers and require frequent maintenance. The carbon belt, on the other hand, offers a much longer lifespan—up to 20,000 km—and requires no lubrication. It's also lighter, quieter, and more efficient, making it a game-changer for e-bike design.

Top 3.0

The Top 3.0 model features a single-speed belt drive, eliminating the complexity of multi-speed systems. This not only simplifies the ride but also reduces mechanical issues. Additionally, the rear pendulum has been redesigned to allow for easier tension adjustments, ensuring smoother operation over time.

Prime 2.0

The Prime 2.0 model comes with a battery that has a 6% increased capacity, extending the maximum range to 370 km. This is powered by a 48V 70Ah Samsung battery with a Bluetooth-enabled smart BMS, providing better energy management and safety. The bike also includes a high-performance headlight with low and high beam settings, enhancing visibility during night rides and in adverse weather conditions.

Partner 2.0

The Partner 2.0 model features a powerful 1500W motor with 135 N.m of torque, doubling the efficiency of previous models. It also includes a dual-disc front brake system for improved stopping power, ensuring greater safety at higher speeds.

In addition to these improvements, Delfast offers flexible financing options, including PayPal, Klarna, Affirm (for US customers), and PayBright (for Canadian users). These options make it easier for riders to choose the right e-bike for their lifestyle and budget.
