(6) Probability screening. Including rotary probability sieve, linear vibration probability sieve, equal thickness probability sieve and inertial resonance probability sieve, etc., dry and wet screening of coal, ore and other medium and fine grain materials can be used.
(7) Fine screening. It also includes a curved screen, which is mainly used for classification, dehydration and de-intermediation of fine-grained materials.
In addition, there are new screening equipment such as relaxation screens, spiral screens, meshless vibrating screens and vibrating screens.
Fixed screens are well known due to their simple construction. Roller screens have been gradually replaced by heavy-duty vibrating screens due to their complicated construction, heavy weight, and easy wear of rollers. They are used less and less; flat rocking screens have been replaced by vibrating screens due to their low productivity and efficiency. The cylindrical screen is rarely used by the concentrator and there are fewer manufacturers.
