Although the basic structure and laws of the flotation process are constant, the nature of the ore is varied, so the process of handling various ores should be varied. Especially with the increasingly complex nature of the ore processing refractory structure flotation process should also be flexible, where the anti-gold-containing ore flotation characteristics will introduce two kinds of processes existing applications.
1. Priority enriched applications.
When the ore grade is high and there is a part of useful minerals with good floatability, it can be floated in the first and second tanks of the rough selection. If the foam grade is higher than the qualified concentrate grade, it can be scraped in time as the final. Part of the concentrate, so it is also called rough selection of concentrate. Reflected in the process is the first rough selection operation to the final concentrate, and its operation tailings into the second rough selection.
2. Branch flotation process.
This routine is selected for low grade ore, the carrier according to the principle of flotation, into the mineral slurry is divided into two parallel (see FIG. 1 shows). And one of the rough selection (or sweeping) foam is given to another work of the same name, and the first rich high-grade ore is used to increase the other selected grade. Thereby improving the flotation process, improving the selection index, and saving the dosage. Some people in China have proposed that the principle is to use the first enriched easy-floating ore particles to be fed into the second branch, which is also the carrier of the second branch. Therefore, it is also called self-bearing flotation. The process is based on the experimental research by Shenyang Golden College. It has been applied to several gold mines and achieved good results. It can increase the recovery rate of gold deposits by 0.86%~3.54% respectively (application results of three mines).

In addition, some multi-metal flotation plants in China have also carried out research and application of branch processes, and on this basis, they have developed branch-to-speed flotation.
The branching process has practical value for the treatment of low-grade gold-bearing ore, and its adaptability still needs to be further worked, and its application range is expanded for various ore types.
