This year, 20,000 old yellow-label vehicles were eliminated. The main pollutant emission reduction is a rigid indicator issued by the state. In response to the severe situation of pollution reduction in our province, the provincial government today held a special conference on the major pollutant emission reduction work in the province to study and deploy the pollution reduction work in the late 12th Five-Year Plan. The provincial government has clearly stated that it plans to phase out 20,000 yellow-label vehicles and old vehicles this year, and accelerate the construction of pollutant emission reduction projects to ensure the completion of this year's annual emission reduction tasks and the “12th Five-Year Plan” emission reduction targets. This means that the province has blown up the assembly number of pollution reduction.
The person in charge of the Provincial Department of Land, Environment and Resources reported that in recent years, the province has taken pollution reduction as an important starting point for adjusting the structure and transfer mode, strictly assessing and implementing the responsibility for emission reduction targets, and working together to promote pollution reduction. As of the first half of this year, the province invested 6.51 billion yuan in emission reduction funds and completed 463 national and provincial responsibility book projects.
It is understood that the problem facing pollution reduction in our province is that the construction of sewage supporting pipe network, especially the urban household pipe network, is lagging behind, resulting in low concentration of sewage in the sewage treatment plant and low operating load rate, which has affected the emission reduction benefits. At the same time, some of the emission reduction projects have been slow, and there are still three national responsibility book projects in the province that have not started this year. In addition, some farms did not require the "three simultaneous" requirements to launch pollution control facilities. In addition, the State Council issued 20,000 vehicles for the elimination of old vehicles in our province this year. As of the end of July this year, only 4,400 vehicles were eliminated.
