In early August, the plastic raw material market in Northeast, North, and Northwest China experienced a slight upward trend, driven by fluctuations in international oil prices. PVC prices rebounded across the board, while linear polyethylene saw a modest increase. Prices for low-density polyethylene (LDPE), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP), and polystyrene remained stable, with signs of recovery emerging due to tight supply conditions.
PVC ex-factory prices showed notable increases. Jinhua Group’s 5-type PVC was priced at 7,000 yuan/ton, Tianjin Chemical Plant’s 3, 5, 7, and 8-type PVC stood at 6,800 yuan, Siping United’s 5-type reached 6,700 yuan, Qihua Group’s 5-type was 6,900 yuan, and Qilu Petrochemical’s S700 was 6,750 yuan. Compared to the second half of July, Jinhua and Tianjin both increased by 400 yuan, Qihua rose by 600 yuan, Siping by 100 yuan, and Qilu by 50 yuan.
For LDPE, Lanzhou Petrochemical’s M13D (injection molding) was 11,000 yuan, Daqing Petrochemical’s F18D (film material) was 10,900 yuan, 18E (re-packaging) at 10,800 yuan, 18G (coating) at 11,250 yuan, and 19E (cable material) at 11,350 yuan. Yanshan Petrochemical’s 1I2A (injection molding) was 11,000 yuan, and various grades such as 1F7B (film), LD100BW (cable), 1C7A (coating), and others were around 11,000–11,800 yuan. Qilu Petrochemical’s TN00/26 (film) was 10,900 yuan. Compared to mid-July, Lanzhou saw a 100-yuan increase, while Daqing, Yanshan, and Qilu remained largely unchanged.
HDPE prices showed mixed movements. Fushun Petrochemical’s 2908 and 2909 (injection molding) were priced at 10,950 yuan, while 2911 and 2909FS were at 11,000 yuan. Liaoyang Petrochemical’s L055P (plastic window packing) was 11,500 yuan. Daqing Petrochemical’s 5000S (drawing) and 2200J (injection molding) were 10,700 yuan, while 5300B (bottle) was 10,600 yuan. Lanzhou’s 5000S was 10,900 yuan, and Yanshan’s 5000S was 10,550 yuan. Qilu’s 6098 (film) and 6145 (hollow) were 10,400 yuan. Dushanzi’s 6070 (injection molding) was 11,400 yuan. Compared to mid-July, Fushun fell by 50 yuan, Daqing dropped by 100–200 yuan, Yanshan’s 5000S fell by 150 yuan, and Qilu’s 6098 dropped by 100 yuan, while other brands remained stable.
LLDPE ex-factory prices saw small gains. Jilin Chemical’s 7042 (pellets) was 10,610 yuan, Daqing’s 7042 and 7047 (film) were 10,700 yuan, Lanzhou’s 103AA (film) was 10,500 yuan, Qilu’s 7042 (butene grade) was 10,400 yuan, and Dushanzi’s 0209 (film) was 10,600 yuan. Compared to mid-July, Jilin and Dushanzi remained unchanged, while Daqing, Lanzhou, and Qilu rose by 100–150 yuan.
Polypropylene prices varied slightly. Lanzhou Petrochemical’s F401 (drawing) was 10,800 yuan, Liaoyang’s 5004 (drawing) was 10,800 yuan, and several fiber and coated grades were at 10,900 yuan. Fushun’s T30S (drawing) was 10,750 yuan, while T38F (film) and Z30S were at 10,850 yuan. Daqing’s T30S was 10,900 yuan, and T38F was 11,000 yuan. Yanshan’s 2401 (drawing) was 11,000 yuan, K7726 (washing machine special) was 11,500 yuan, K8303 (injection molding) was 11,600 yuan, and 4220 (pipe) was 12,000 yuan. Dushanzi’s T30S was 10,900 yuan, and EPS30R (injection molding) was 11,000 yuan. Jinzhou’s powder material was 10,600 yuan, and Shijiazhuang’s powder was 10,650 yuan. Compared to mid-July, Yanshan’s K7726 and K8303 rose by 100 yuan, while Lanzhou, Shijiazhuang, and Jinzhou increased by 50–100 yuan. Liaoyang dropped by 150 yuan, and Fushun and Dushanzi fell by 100 yuan.
Polystyrene ex-factory prices: Fushun’s 825 was 10,900 yuan, Daqing’s 200D was 11,600 yuan, and Yanshan’s 666D was 11,100 yuan. Compared to mid-July, Fushun remained unchanged, Daqing rose by 300 yuan, and Yanshan fell by 300 yuan.
ABS ex-factory prices: Jilin Chemical’s 0215A was 14,210 yuan, Daqing’s 750A was 14,600 yuan, and Lanzhou’s 301 and 301W were 14,600 and 14,400 yuan respectively. Compared to mid-July, Jilin and Lanzhou remained unchanged, while Daqing rose by 250 yuan.
