IHC Merwede officially launched the world's first four-track underwater sub-digging machine, which was specially developed for the operation in narrow waters and for laying cables for offshore wind farms.

According to reports, this submarine excavator, known as the Hi-Traq, recently demonstrated to offshore wind industry professionals from the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. This remotely operated excavator ensures safe and efficient subsea operations.
Chris Jones, product manager of the subsea team at IHC Merwede Engineering, pointed out that the climber's climbing gradient can reach 20 degrees and the test shows that it can meet all functional requirements.
