Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection
“Our team’s mission is to help the AEC industry improve processes and project outcomes by providing a cohesive, multi-disciplinary authoring platform that connects design to construction. We’re excited to release Revit 2020, building on improvements from Revit 2019.1 and 2019.2. Architects will benefit from enhanced wall and curtain wall creation, plus a new Path of Travel feature to simulate minimal egress distance. Structural engineers will see better design-to-fabrication detailing for concrete and steel, while MEP customers will enjoy improved electrical and mechanical workflows. We’ve also added long-awaited features like PDF Underlay. Plus, we introduced the Cloud Model Upgrade service, which automatically upgrades all cloud models in a BIM 360 project with just one click.†– Chris Yanchar, Director of Building Design Products
“In this release of Civil 3D 2020, we’re especially excited about the introduction of Dynamo for Civil 3D—a design automation tool that helps customers save time by streamlining repetitive tasks. Combined with other new features, we’re delivering more efficiency to our users’ design and production workflows.†– Tim Yarris, Civil 3D Product Manager
“With the latest release of InfraWorks, we’re taking another step forward in integrating BIM and GIS. Now, customers can import GIS data from ArcGIS into InfraWorks, make changes, and save it back to ArcGIS. This makes it easier for design and GIS teams to share project information.†– Nick Zeeben, InfraWorks Product Manager

Product Design and Manufacturing Collection
“The Product Design & Manufacturing Collection isn’t just about Inventor—it’s about empowering customers to design and make anything in a seamless way. We’ve integrated Inventor with CAM, Nesting, Nastran, and Tolerance Analysis tools, all within a single experience. We’ve also created smooth upstream and downstream workflows to ensure data flows seamlessly between AutoCAD, Fusion 360, and more. In today’s fast-moving product development landscape, we’re helping customers stay ahead by combining design and manufacturing into one end-to-end workflow.†– Derrek Cooper, Senior Director, Product Design Solutions
“Inventor, the heart of the Product Design & Manufacturing Collection, is stronger than ever. For 20 years, it has transformed the way customers create products, and this release may be our most powerful yet. Users now have better performance with large assemblies, faster frame design, and new ways to create complex geometry. The interface has been refreshed with multimonitor support and other productivity enhancements. Inventor is also more connected than ever, thanks to AnyCAD technology, which lets users work with CAD data from anywhere—whether it's a 2D drawing from AutoCAD, a 3D file, or a generative design from Fusion 360.†– Jon den Hartog, Director of Product Management
“Fusion 360 is always evolving. We release updates every few weeks, and you can keep up with the latest on our blog. But here are some highlights from recent updates. Generative design is now available to all commercial subscribers, and we've added new subtractive manufacturing constraints like 3- and 5-axis machining. We even opened a new lab in Chicago dedicated to hands-on exploration of generative design with Fusion 360. We've also introduced a new learning panel to help users get started, improved collaboration tools for teams, and are rolling out major UX improvements across the board, including the Manufacture workspace.†– Sam Sattel, Senior Marketing Manager, Fusion 360

Media & Entertainment Collection
“Whether you're creating a character for a film or designing a building, we want 3ds Max users to have all the tools they need to bring their creative visions to life without compromise. 3ds Max 2020 continues to focus on quality and stability, while introducing several new features that speed up content creation and let artists focus on what matters most.†– Nic Fonta, 3ds Max Senior Product Line Manager
“Maya 2019 introduces features that give artists a more responsive and engaging environment, allowing for faster iteration and higher-quality output. Features like Cached Playback reduce the need for playblasts, and Arnold updates make viewport previews much closer to final renders.†– Chris Vienneau, Senior Director of Media & Entertainment Products
