This also means that Dongfeng Renault has begun to integrate Renault's imported car business.

According to Renault Automobile, since April 1st this year, Dongfeng Renault Sales Head Chen Yu will be responsible for Renault’s sales and marketing in China. He will be responsible for sales, marketing, network expansion and after-sales services for Renault brand imported vehicles. Work, reporting directly to Roger, Senior Vice President of Renault Group and President of Asia Pacific Region. At the same time, Chen Hao will continue to serve and perform his current duties in the joint venture Dongfeng Renault.

At the same time, Renault Dean China Vice President Dechannet will serve as the general manager of Renault (Beijing) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd., responsible for human resources, legal affairs and IS/IT, and will also report directly to Roger.

It is understood that the appointment of Ren Chen as Senior Director of Sales and Marketing of Renault China means that Dongfeng Renault has already begun to integrate Renault's imported Chinese car channels and business. Renault's imported car business will enter the joint venture system in the future. At this time, only four months have passed since the Dongfeng Renault project was signed.

In December last year, Dongfeng Renault signed a formal joint venture to catch up with the last bus joint venture. Dongfeng Renault plans production capacity based on the annual production capacity of 300,000 units. The first product will be launched in the first half of 2016. In the product planning, Dongfeng Renault will take the SUV as the lead, and the first product is expected to be Renault's hot SUV Koreo, and then will introduce a variety of SUV products. The future Dongfeng Renault plans to launch a full range of Renault products including cars.

In the sales channel, Dongfeng Renault will integrate the existing Renault import car dealer network and establish an independent dealer network. Dongfeng Renault dealers will sell domestic and imported models at the same time and provide corresponding after-sales services. It is understood that Renault’s current 92 dealerships will accelerate its expansion to 120 after the joint venture.

In the past few years, Renault has been exploring the Chinese market with imported cars. It has basically introduced Renault's full line of products and has initially established a "casual luxury" brand with differentiated competitiveness. At present, the annual sales volume of imported Renault vehicles is about 30,000, and the number of possessions has reached about 100,000. This also set the market foundation for Dongfeng Renault to further launch domestic cars.
