The bearing and gearbox lubrication system of the IDX1000 vacuum pump uses a chilled filter oil and uses a double-ended design – a third-generation spiral technology from Océ Edwards that effectively eliminates centrifugal forces. As a result, the service life of the bearing is longer than that of Océ Edwards, and it has excellent liquid handling capability in the event of interference with the process.
